Without doubt, there is something for everyone and the spirit of Christmas is clear.
A warm coat and an early start
Cambridge is famed for many things but most noteworthy has to be The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols held in King’s College Chapel. Broadcast live on BBC Radio 4 at 3pm on Christmas Eve to millions of listeners it marks a magical and significant point in the Christmas calendar across the world.
With patience, a warm coat and an early start you could be one of 500 invited to join members of College and their personal guests. Perhaps next year the mixed-voice choirs, King’s Voices may share this special global platform. Just saying.
